Momotaro Lounge Chicago is one of the hottest late-night spots in Lincoln Park. The downstairs Izakaya, or drinking restaurant, is Momotaro’s subterranean cocktail lounge. The overall look and feel mimics the chaotic streets and alleys of Japan. Here the design emphasizes a multiplicity of spaces, like the experience of wandering through alleys among tiny food vendors’ stalls. In the center is a four-sided bar, built around the weighty timber columns of the old warehouse building, with joinery details from traditional Japanese architecture.
The Izakaya can accommodate a maximum of 150 guests for a full buyout. There is also a semi-private lounge in the Izakaya that can accommodate up to 30 guests for a reception style event. Be sure to book your party ahead of time to ensure an unforgettable night out in Momotaro Lounge Chicago!
