The mission of Sony Group Corporation is to use the power of art and technology to impact the world. Both of these forces are combined at Sony Hall, a multi-genre live venue in the center of New York City, to create a unique concert hall enhanced by Sony technology to provide music lovers with an unmatched entertainment experience.
When it first debuted in 1938 as the Diamond Horseshoe, the location immediately became one of the vaudeville era’s most recognizable performance spaces, eventually becoming the setting for the avant-garde off-Broadway smash Queen of the Night. Sony Hall’s doors were formally opened in March 2018, with its original history, dynamic design, and décor features still present. After entering the location for the first time, Sony Group Corporation quickly left the area. You can immediately sense the space’s deep history as soon as you walk in. Sony Hall honors the history and tradition of the location while transforming it into a genuinely unique space where creativity and technology coexist in perfect harmony by maintaining its original architecture and integrating the most recent Sony technologies.
Today, Sony works to keep creating innovative technologies for Sony Hall to make the venue a temple of music for performers and fans.
